Hydraulic Mold Clamps

Double-Acting Wedge Clamps provide sure, safe clamping of tools with standard straight clamping edges. Their two-piece wedge clamping bolt and block cylinder combine to offer mechanical locking with hydraulic assist. The fully retracted bolt extends from the housing then clamps straight down on the flat surface of the tool without creating any side load. The hydraulically operated clamp then wedges internally, mechanically locking the clamp. Three sizes, with clamping forces from 5,625 to 22,500 lbs. (These compact clamps are the most popular type used in injection molding machines.)
